Contraindications for Waxing

Pre-Waxing Instructions (Before Your Appointment)
Let Hair Grow – Hair should be at least 1/4 inch long (about the length of a grain of rice) for the best results.
Exfoliate Gently – Light exfoliation 24-48 hours before helps remove dead skin and prevent ingrown hairs.
Avoid Moisturizers & Oils – Keep skin dry and clean before waxing to ensure proper adhesion.
No Sun Exposure – Avoid tanning or sunbathing at least 48 hours before your wax.
Avoid Retinoids & Strong Skincare Products – Stop using retinol, AHA/BHA, or harsh exfoliants at least 5 days before.
Wear Loose Clothing – Tight clothing can cause irritation after waxing, especially in sensitive areas.
